Prayer for those who grieve

Father,
Sometimes I cannot comprehend or understand why bad things happen.
The pain is so bad and we feel far from you.
Help us to have faith,  to love like jesus,
to be led to you to take our pain, our fear our sorrow to you,
to show us that you are a God of love,

For our pain is not healing by asking why, or in reason,
But in your wisdom and love where we find refuge.
Lead all who grieve to your comfort,
Lead all who are weak and in pain to you,
that  at your feet we lay our sorrow,
So you may touch us with your grace, mercy, comfort and love
and release us from grief through your love.

Almighty father we ask this in the name of your son Jesus,
who died for us, and rose again to eternal life in your glory.

Prayer for the Cold Stricken

Father,
I place on you all the tiredness, weakness and the things that are causing me to slow down.

You know how this is affecting me, and I pray you can help me get on with all the things I need to do today.

Thank you for being such a graceful god, let me shine through it all and still show you love and peace,
to all I meet today.

Prayer for Energy

Lord,

I feel so weak today,
I just do not have any energy,
All who I love and care, seem to drain me more,
Help me this morning,
to carry out my duties,
Be in me and with me,
carry me through.
I ask this in Jesus name
