Prayer for those who grieve
Father,
Sometimes I cannot comprehend or understand why bad things happen.
The pain is so bad and we feel far from you.
Help us to have faith, to love like jesus,
to be led to you to take our pain, our fear our sorrow to you,
to show us that you are a God of love,
For our pain is not healing by asking why, or in reason,
But in your wisdom and love where we find refuge.
Lead all who grieve to your comfort,
Lead all who are weak and in pain to you,
that at your feet we lay our sorrow,
So you may touch us with your grace, mercy, comfort and love
and release us from grief through your love.
Almighty father we ask this in the name of your son Jesus,
who died for us, and rose again to eternal life in your glory.
Amen

Father,
I place on you all the tiredness, weakness and the things that are causing me to slow down.
You know how this is affecting me, and I pray you can help me get on with all the things I need to do today.

Prayer for Energy
Lord,
I feel so weak today,
I just do not have any energy,
All who I love and care, seem to drain me more,
Help me this morning,
to carry out my duties,
Be in me and with me,
carry me through.

Welcome to my new blog,
I am a firm believer in the power of Prayer and believe God blesses us all.
I hope that my prayers can help and comfort you whenever you need them, I hope they help you find the words you need.

I began this blog today after I woke up today.
God had been asking me for a long time to be the difference. I feel he is calling me to use my gifts to bring others to start a relationship with him and to know him. I feel he is asking me to make some changes where I am.
I have slowly watched as churches in my area close one by one, and to be sold off for building land.
I go to church to see the warmth and welcome of older generations, but there is no youth, vitality or spirit working through the church to keep it flourishing.
I feel God is trying to get me to make a difference where I am. I am not sure how, but I am going to be led by the holy spirit wherever it may take me. I will share it with you.

Prayer for a Sick Friend
There is someone in my heart lord,
I give them up to you,
they are in need of you healing,
but my words just won't come through,
They mean so much to me,
and I am helpless in everyway,
So I bring their pain to you lord,
and I simply pray
Comfort and heal them,
Take away the pain,
Free them from the fear of ills,
Through their storm and rain,

Busy Busy Day
Lord,
I am always so busy,

In the midst of the hussle and bussle,
I sometimes forget about you,
I forget about my family,
I forget to check on my friends,
I don't have time to care at all,
Before my day ends,
But the truth is i want to remember,
You and those I hold dear,
I want them to know that they matter to me,
I want them to know I'm still here.

Demanded and Feeling Stressed
Lord, there are so many things in life pulling me in every direction,
I do not know which way to go, for the way I am being pulled is not my own.
